Home Remedies To Get Glowing Skin During Summer

Summer can be pretty unforgiving for your skin - pollution, sweat, intense heat, and humidity can cause skin issues that you don’t normally have the other months of the year. If your skin is feeling like it needs a little TLC, look to these home remedies to get healthy, glowing skin this summer!

Coffee + Lemon

Directions: In a bowl, add one tablespoon of ground coffee powder and one tablespoon of lemon juice. Mix it well without forming any lumps and then apply the mixture to your face. Leave it on for 15 minutes before you rinse it off with water. Repeat this remedy at least twice a week!

Benefit: Lemon is rich in vitamin C that helps brighten your skin while coffee makes for a great exfoliator.

Strawberry + Lemon + Yogurt

Directions: In a bowl, add three mashed strawberries with one tablespoon of yogurt and half a tablespoon of lemon juice. Mix all the ingredients and then apply this mask to your face. Let it sit for about 20-30 minutes and then wash it off!

Benefit: Strawberry and lemon keep your skin healthy and vibrant by lightly exfoliating, while yogurt moisturizes your skin to be even and soft.

Honey + Egg

Directions: In a bowl, take one egg white and one tablespoon of honey, mix it well and gently apply it to your face. Leave it on for about 10-15 minutes and then rinse it off with cold water.

Benefit: Both honey and egg give your skin a boost of hydration by nourishing your skin cells, ultimately giving you a radiant glow.

Orange Juice + Turmeric

Method: Take equal amounts of orange juice and turmeric in a bowl, mix it well and apply the paste on your face and neck. Leave it on for about 20 minutes and then rinse it off.

Benefit: Orange juice has skin brightening properties and turmeric has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant components that provide glow and luster to your skin.
